Mr. Claude Côté is retired from the Government of Quebec, where he worked as Executive Assistant and Interim Regional Director at the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy. From 2016 to 2025, he successively held the positions of Director of the Marine Resources, Science and Technologies Cluster and Director of Innovation at the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Industrial Bioprocesses in Quebec (CRIBIQ).
With over twenty years of experience in applied research and innovation, Mr. Frédérick Blouin has held the position of General Manager of CIDCO since 2025.
His career is distinguished by strong, mobilizing leadership, solid expertise in organizational management, and a deep understanding of the innovation ecosystem in Québec. He has successfully led growth strategies, the development of strategic partnerships, and the advancement of research in multidisciplinary contexts.
Rimouski, April 3, 2025 – The Board of Directors of CIDCO (Interdisciplinary Centre for the Development of Ocean Mapping) is pleased to announce that Mr. Frédérick Blouin, M.Sc., has officially taken office as General Manager of CIDCO as of April 1, 2025.
Mr. Erik Lapointe, General Manager of REFORMAR, has over 15 years of experience in the maritime sector. He oversees the management of financial, human, and material resources, ensuring operational excellence and the strategic development of the organization.
An expert in maritime operations management, compliance with safety standards, and strategic contract negotiations, he is recognized for his leadership and his ability to actively contribute to ambitious initiatives in marine science and technology.
Ms. Geneviève McCormack is a retired executive, formerly Director General of the Canadian Hydrographic Service (2018–2023) at Fisheries and Oceans Canada.
Previously, she served as Director General of Monitoring and Data Services at the Meteorological Service of Canada, within Environment and Climate Change Canada (2012-2018), as well as Director at Natural Resources Canada.
